Welcome to Riverside Wellness
Hello and welcome to Riverside Wellness! For two years, this is a phrase we have dreamed of saying to the medical marijuana patients of Missouri. When we voted to legalize medical marijuana in 2018, our team had a vision: to open a medical marijuana dispensary for the people. Simply put, we wanted to put patients first. But what does that mean? It’s one thing to make a promise to put patients first, it’s another to work towards goals that make that vision a reality for them. Over the past few years we’ve decided on a few facets that we believe will make us a positive and exciting part of the growing cannabis community in Kansas City:
To provide safe, quality medicine to our community – an exploding community of medical marijuana patients in Missouri that is surpassing everyone’s expectations.
To normalize the use of cannabis and help our community understand it’s benefits, providing a comfortable, helpful, safe and legal environment for them to explore the world of cannabis
To contribute quality information to our patients – equipping the medical marijuana patients of Missouri with legitimate and clear product information so they know exactly what they are taking – allowing our patients to work with their medical professionals to implement dosages, methods of consumption, and ratios of cannabinoids & terpenes that benefit their individual needs.
To provide compassionate care – listening to the needs of our community and responding with empathy and knowledge, understanding your pain, empathizing with your desire to be healthy, and realizing an alternative option for care in a wide variety of cannabis products.
To grow and change with our community. As cannabis research grows, attitudes shift, and the industry transforms we promise to grow with it, providing our patients with new information, products & services. If we put patients first, we stay rooted in a way that makes it easy to decide the next step, the next product, the next partnership, community initiative or educational event.

If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that a back up plan for a back up plan for a back up plan may not work out. We never thought that we would face a global pandemic, uncertain political climates, lockdowns, and a harrowing journey to obtain quality products for our patients, but we did. And through all of this, we trudged. With our patients at the forefront of our mind, we have worked every day to take the necessary steps, not just to sell cannabis, but to provide a place our patients can call home – exploring the possibilities of cannabis in safe and informed (and exciting!) ways.
